Engineered
Wood Flooring is wood flooring made from two or more laminations
(layers) of wood glued together in a sandwich. The surface is
real, resandable wood -- not to be confused with plastic photo
laminates.
Diagram at right: Our UPO line of engineered foating hardwood flooring consists of three layers. Each has specific features which complement each other, providing improved resistance to wear. This carefully designed structure prevents the flooring from twisting and bending. The wear layer determines the aesthetic lifetime of the floor. The surface is treated with six coats of PU varnish UV cured resulting in a more durable and hardwearing finish than other traditional PU finishes.
